Olavo “The Professor” Abreu is highly regarded as one of the legends of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu worldwide. He is a Jiu Jitsu black belt, and has trained directly with Carlson Gracie Jr., one the co-founders son of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He was also a part of Brazil Top Team, training with fighters of the same caliber as Marcelo Alonso, Murilo Bustamante, and Zé Mario Sperry, to name a few. Coach Olavo is regarded as a pioneer of BJJ in the Eastern part of the world. Developing national programs in UAE, and in Moscow, and then moved onto creating Phuket Top Team from the ground up. He is now part of Temple, Phuket's upcoming pure and only Brazilian Jiu Jitsu training center located inside Chivitr Wellness Center in Nai Harn.
